Southern California Fires

For all of you out there that have not experienced Fire Season in Southern California, it's not fun. In 2003 we had major fires over a large portion of So. Cal. with fierce winds, low humidity and heat. The following year we had heavy rains that caused massive mud slides and even more damage. Now it is October 2007 and we are in a worse state than 4 year ago. We currently have 18 fires burning, and that is only the ones that are over 100 acres. Over 250,000 people have been evacuated from there homes in San Diego County. It is estimated that over 500,000 people have been displaced by the current fires. Last I heard the combined size of all fires was over 890 sq. miles and growing. God be with them all.

Halloween is almost here!!!!

Well it's the 2nd of October, and we pulled in the last of our pumpkins from the "patch." Our largest is over 100lbs, but not sure by how much. What do you think??
