What's a Weekend????

Got to love me!

My Photo
Name:
Location: Riverside, California

So you think you want to know about me?!? Well that's a complicated thing. Some people think I am a very nice person, while others swear that I am satan in the flesh. Some think that I know everything, and again others treat me as a dumb blonde. I can tell you that I work 6 to 7 days a week, love my family, don't know what a weekend is or what I would do with my time if I had one. I love the country, hate stupid Orange County people, and lived in Hollywood for 3 years. I believe in God, but don't think that one religion has gotten it right. I have a tattoo and want more, I don't think that there is anything wrong with body piercing. I think that you should be able to speak and read ENGLISH in order to vote or drive in this county and if that make's me a bad person, oh well, deal with it.

How Stupid Can They Be?

Okay, so my blog has not turned out to be like everyone else’s blog, you know filled with what I did today, and how funny this or that is, or the like, it’s more along the line of a public place for me to vent my frustrations. Well, today’s post is no different.

As some of you might know, for a brief period of time, I worked for the City of Riverside. Now hindsight being 20/20 I see things a lot more clearly than before. I was “let go,” not offered a full time position after my 1 year probation period, because. That’s the reason they gave me, because. Anyway, after looking at the people they let go just before and after me, and the management that took “early retirement,” it’s very clear. Too much knowledge is a dangerous thing!

Brief history…the manager for the city’s wastewater treatment facility plant was on paid administrative leave pending a federal investigation for some no no’s that she was later found guilty of. Well “they” only found a portion of what was really going on and when a few of us admin people (non-management) found out what no no’s were still going on, well you can guess what happened. We no longer had jobs. No no’s like changing numbers on official reports that go to the EPA!

So anyway in today’s paper it was said that the EPA found that the City of Riverside has the cleanest post treatment water in the nation!?!

Let’s all say OH GROSS!! And fresh fish is supposed to be good for you! I think I’ll take my chances with Mad Cow Disease, Avian Flu and Trichinosis! Thank you very much!

Makes you wonder about a lot of things we're told by our 'leaders' or 'experts', doesn't it?
